Restricted Substances

The RoHS 2 (Directive 2011/65/EU) classifies certain chemicals as "restricted," meaning they may be used in electrical and electronic equipment only up to a maximum concentration of 0.1 % by weight, with lead, mercury, cadmium and hexavalent chromium limited to 0.01 %. Exceeding these limits is prohibited for products placed on the EU market.
