Sec 7 - Imminent Hazards

Section 7 of the Toxic Substances Control Act gives the EPA authority to act quickly when a chemical poses an immediate threat to public health or the environment, allowing emergency orders, restrictions or bans. It sets out procedures for identifying, assessing and responding to such imminent hazards, including enforcement measures to mitigate risks.
