Bofumustine

**Definition:** A chloroethylamine derivative, with alkylating activity. Bofumustine alkylates DNA and forms DNA-DNA crosslinks, which result in the inhibition of DNA, RNA and protein synthesis and ultimately the induction of apoptosis.
