**Definition:** A family of structurally-related protein interaction domains characterized by 6-helical closed bundle fold, with Greek key topology and an internal pseudo two-fold symmetry. Death-like domains occur in many proteins that are essential for APOPTOSIS, including CASPASE RECRUITMENT DOMAIN CONTAINING PROTEINS and DEATH DOMAIN RECEPTORS.
